Arthur Hayes Makes a Surprising Move! He Sold All of the Altcoins Expected to Gain 126x! Here's Why!

BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, known for his bold statements about Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market, continues to attract attention with his altcoin transactions. At this point, Arthur Hayes surprised the market with his latest transaction, announcing that he sold his entire Hyperliquid (HYPE) investment to purchase a supercar. Today, Hayes sold 97,000 HYPEs (worth approximately $5.1 million) for an estimated profit of approximately $820,000. Hayes shared on his X account that he sold his entire HYPE savings because he needed money for a down payment on a Ferrari 849 Testarossa. Hayes' move comes just a month after HYPE predicted a nearly 126x increase in its value over the next three years. Hayes stated in his post that he believes the price increase he predicted for HYPE is still possible, and that 2028 is still a long way off. HYPE, the native token of the Hyperliquid decentralized derivatives exchange, fell 9.1% in the last 24 hours to $48. However, HYPE has surged a staggering 660% since its launch at $6.51 in late November.
