One of Japan’s Largest Financial Companies May Have Had Its Cryptocurrency Wallets Hacked – Here Are the Details

Blockchain researcher ZachXBT has revealed that approximately $21 million worth of cryptocurrency was suspiciously transferred from wallets believed to belong to SBI Crypto. It was stated that the funds were transferred to different addresses via Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Bitcoin Cash, and then deposited into Tornado Cash through five instant exchanges. ZachXBT stated that the transfers showed signs of similarity to attacks previously linked to North Korean hacker groups, raising the possibility that the incident was carried out by North Korean-linked hackers.
