Ripple announced on November 5 that it has secured a fresh $500 million strategic investment, pushing its valuation to $40 billion, in a deal led by major institutional players including funds tied to Fortress Investment Group, Citadel Securities, Pantera Capital, Galaxy Digital, Brevan Howard, and Marshall Wace. The funding comes on the heels of Ripple’s strongest year to date, following a $1 billion tender offer at the same valuation. In particular, the raise reinforces institutional confidence in Ripple’s expanding role in global crypto and financial infrastructure.
