Details about the farm The world’s first tokenized vertical farming complex on peaq is being designed, built, and operated by KanayaAI and tokenized by DualMint, which recently joined peaq’s ecosystem. The smart farm, automating around 80% of traditional manual tasks through AI and robotics, is expected to launch in Q4 2025. The farm will supply fresh greens to the local community, delivering about 12 crop cycles per year compared to 3–4 in conventional farming. Its AI-powered robotics and hydroponic systems are projected to cut labor costs by 50%, while its climate control system is expected to produce 20% more crops than a traditional farm of similar size. The proprietary design also makes the system highly resource-efficient, using land 10 times more effectively, consuming just one-tenth the water, and requiring no pesticides. This clean, sustainable approach aligns closely with Hong Kong’s ecological goals while ensuring consistent, local food production. The vertical farm’s cash flow will be tokenized as NFTs on peaq, providing yields to holders based on the farm’s revenue. A waiting list for the farm’s token is already open on DualMint’s website and the peaq Portal, giving early sign-ups priority access to the NFT sale.
