Accordingly, the Nasdaq-listed company purchased 79,949 ETH worth $259 million at an average price of $3,238 between July 14-20. SharpLink Gaming (SBET), which surpassed the Ethereum Foundation in terms of ETH holdings with its previous acquisition, increased its total treasury to 360,807 ETH and became the firm that holds the most ETH. At this point, the company's ETH holdings increased by 29% compared to the previous week, making this purchase the highest weekly purchase historically. SharpLink added that since adopting Ethereum as its primary treasury reserve asset, it has staked over 99% of its assets and earned a total of 567 ETH in rewards.
