FalconX has launched an electronic options trading platform that supports 24/7 trading, according to The Block. The platform aims to address the inefficiencies of traditional over-the-counter (OTC) options, which require manual intervention, by introducing automation. It was stated that the platform currently supports options trading for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Hyperliquid (HYPE) to start. “The options market is the next big frontier for institutional cryptocurrencies,” said Josh Lim, Co-Head of Global Markets at FalconX. “We built this platform to address long-standing challenges such as fragmented liquidity and a lack of 24/7 access.
