The flagship cryptocurrency is down nearly 3% over the past 24 hours, and has declined almost 13% over the past week. The latest downtrend has seen Bitcoin lose over 30% of its value. Additionally, $111 billion in crypto market value and $1.6 billion in leveraged positions were wiped out amid thin weekend liquidity. Crypto Market Selloff Intensifies Looking at the broader cryptocurrency market, Ethereum (ETH) plummeted to a low of $2,165, a level not seen since May 2025. The altcoin has climbed above $2,200 over the past 24 hours to $2,227. However, it is down over 7% in the past 24 hours and by over 22% in the past week. Ripple (XRP) is down over 5%, trading around $1.57. Meanwhile, Solana (SOL) briefly slipped below $100 early on Monday but rebounded and moved to its current level of $101. However, it remains down over 3%. Dogecoin (DOGE) is down over 2% at $0.103, while Cardano (ADA) is down nearly 4% at $0.284. Chainlink (LINK), Toncoin (TON), Litecoin (LTC), Hedera (HBAR), Stellar (XLM), and Polkadot (DOT) have also registered heavy losses over the past 24 hours.
